Creamed Spinach

"I had such strong dairy cravings during pregnancy, and I wanted to find a nutritious way to bring that craving into a healthful supper. That’s how this recipe was created! It tastes savory, creamy and delicious."

Ingredients:

1 c. Meant To Be milk

3 c. chopped spinach

1 med. onion, diced

1 tbsp. organic grass-fed butter

½ c. organic grass-fed heavy cream

1 tbsp. sea salt

Instructions:
  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan. Add diced onion and saute until browned. 
  2. Add the chopped spinach, milk, and salt to the pan. Cook on medium-high heat until bubbling.
  3. Add heavy cream and cook for another 5 minutes, until done. Enjoy!


Notes:

I like to pair this recipe with a slice of salmon on top of the creamed spinach.
