Dairy must be from grass-fed cows

“The best dental superfoods contain calcium, vitamin D, and vitamin K2. High-fat dairy is first on the list. The dairy must be from grass-fed cows to ensure that the nutrients were properly absorbed in the animal.”
Dr. John G. Imm, DDS

Only way to ensure you’re getting enough K2

“It may be more expensive, but purchasing grass-fed meat, eggs, and dairy products is the only way to ensure that you’re getting enough K2 without supplementing. Conventional sources contain little to no K2.”
Dr. Mark Burhenne

Vitamin K is elusive these days

“Vitamin K2 is elusive these days due to a few logistics of food processing. K2 can be processed from chlorophyll-rich plants, but humans don’t have the enzyme. Fortunately, cows do. Dairy from grass-fed herds includes a higher amount of K2, which is essential for teeth receiving calcium from the body.”

Stories of Teeth Saved

Hear it from our delighted customers:

How does grass-fed dairy build better teeth?

All the answers to your grass-fed dairy questions.

Grass-fed dairy contains all the nutrients designed to build your teeth, and they all work together to nourish healthy, white teeth. The nutrients in grass-fed dairy are minerals like calcium and phosphorus, along with vitamins K2, D3, A, and E.

You can’t get the same nutrition from other food like vegetables, and here’s why: Cows’ stomachs are specifically designed to digest grass. Humans don’t have that kind of stomach.

(You wouldn’t want to chew your cud either, would you?)

When a cow eats grass, the enzymes in its stomach convert the nutrients in the grass into a form that humans can use and absorb. For example, it turns vitamin K1 into vitamin K2.

Think of it like this: When you drink grass-fed milk, you’re getting those leafy greens all processed and ready to use. Like a drinkable vitamin salad.

Conventional dairy is produced from cows who are fed grain, soy and corn. Cows’ stomachs were not designed to digest grain, but rather grass. Eating grain doesn’t give the cows the full nutrients they need, and therefore their milk isn’t as nutritious for you either.

Vitamin K2, the vitamin that makes sure calcium is absorbed in your teeth, is only found in grass-fed products. Yup. No other natural source for vitamin K2 exists.

For calcium and other fat-soluble vitamins, other natural sources exist. Grass-fed dairy, on the other hand, gives you the full complement of all the vitamins and minerals needed for healthy teeth in one potent source.

Everyone knows that calcium is important for healthy teeth, right? But even if you supplement with calcium, you need to make sure that that calcium gets to the right place - your teeth. The key vitamin that delivers calcium to your teeth is vitamin K2. That’s why vitamin K2 is so important for healthy teeth.

Vitamin K2 can only be found in grass-fed products.

We’re not promising that you’ll never visit the dentist again, although that’s exactly what happened for some of our customers. But imagine visiting the dentist and not finding any new cavities. Or finding one instead of nine, as one of our customers reported.

Grass-fed products always strengthen your teeth, though every person will see different results depending on quantities eaten and on the rest of their diet.

Meant To Be’s grass-fed dairy is 100% grass-fed, 100% of the time. Our cows are always out on pasture, on fresh grass with plenty of pasture to explore. They nibble the top of the grass, which is dark green and full of energy. You get the cleanest, purest dairy with real grass-fed benefits.

Other benefits of Meant To Be include using only Jersey breed cows, and organic certification, reaching the highest standard of nutritional dairy today.

Our dairy is under the strictest kashrus supervision from NSK Kashrus, so you get nutrition, taste, quality and kashrus in an exclusive package.
